The environment has emerged on the global business agenda and while the recession certainly has taken the headlines for a while the green issue is still hot, because consumers still find it important. Companies approach the issue very differently and most of them consider “going green” as an investment in PR. Other companies have taken advantage of the energy and passion for the environment to improve employee performance through stronger motivation, better collaboration and innovation.
